Such practises include hidden links or mechanically generated webpages whose sole goal is to supply inbound links to websites. Such websites are referred to as link farms and are now disregarded by search engines and may even be banned entirely by search engines.
Of course another basis for the pursuit of quality backlinks is to get traffic to your website. You can’t just develop a website and expect people will find it without getting the word out there about your site and what it can offer visitors. Constructing quality, natural free backlinks is tremendously important to Search Engine Optimization and so it should be very high on your priority list in your SEO action plan.
